On May 15th, 2025, Jessica Dwyer-Milley, RN, BA, BN, CNN (c) was bestowed the prestigious honour of His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation medal, for her positive impact and contributions to nursing practice and neuroscience nursing in communities of Newfoundland and Labrador.

This honour acknowledges individuals who embody values shared by both King Charles III and Canadians, including a deep commitment to service, the protection of our environment, the empowerment of youth, and the celebration of diversity. Jessica embodies these values in her past and present-day commitment to the practice of nursing.

Jessica has played a meaningful role in advancing neuroscience nursing and health promotion of persons living with neurological conditions and disease, in Newfoundland and Labrador, and across Canada through her active involvement in the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses (CANN). Jessica was nominated by her peers for her work with the Registered Nurses Union of Newfoundland and Labrador (RNUNL). WFNN extends a wholehearted congratulations and deepest gratitude to Jessica for her dedication to neuroscience nurses and the enduring impact she makes on the health and well-being of people in Newfoundland and Labrador and across Canada.
